Minors Reach League County Final

Bantry Blues were well represented in Mallow on the two Carbery U14 football teams playing there on Saturday, January 28th. Arthur Coakley, Shane Keevers, Eoin O’Flynn and Philip Dowling played in the B final against Imokilly and were unlucky to lose narrowly. In the second final Bantry had Paddy O’Shea, Tim Foley, Shane McCarthy and Killian O’Sullivan in action and helped Carbery run out easy winners to win the major cup at the tournament. Well done to all.

Our Minor’s advanced to the Football League County final with a one point win over Kanturk in Macroom on Sunday last. In a game in which they lead by 1-03 to 3 points at half time, the final score was 1-09 to 11 points.
